Hey! I'm Loren Silber, owner and ceramics maker at Irrelevant Industries.

I've been making ceramics for about 14 yrs now.  I've always wanted to "make things" and got the bug for ceramics after taking a local class and fell in love with it and have been doing it ever since.

 

I've been giving and selling my work to friends and family for quite a while now and finally decided to make this site to (hopefully) sell it and get it out of my house! Honestly, not sure it's a good idea or not but here we go.

I'm using the name Irrelevant Industries to allude to the seemingly irrelevant nature of handmade crafts and art with the availability of cheap goods everywhere.  I love to feel connected to the people that make the objects we use and hope you do too.

I'm happy to make custom pieces like mugs and bowls in the style that I'm working if I'm out of stock so hit me up if you see something you'd like.
